The city also has numerous parks and greenspace, as well as a state-of-the-art library. Its school system, Mountain Brook School System, is an award-winning system, with all its schools owning the Blue Ribbon Award. It is also home to the largest strawberry farm in the state of Alabama. Mountain Brook is known for its premier shopping district, known as Mountain Brook Village, as well as for the Little Leagues and swimming pools. These five villages make up the commercial and residential areas of the city. The city is divided into five sections (villages): English Village, Crestline Village, Cahaba Village, Mountain Brook Village, and Overton Village.
